| 3. Stress Management
& Compensation Stress
is the non-specific response of the body
to external and internal stressors. It is
produced when a structure, system, or organism
is acted on by forces that disrupt equilibrium
or produce strain.
In health care, the term stress denotes
the physical (including chemical) and psychological
(including mental, emotional, and spiritual)
forces - that are experienced by individuals.
It is generally believed that biological
organisms require a certain amount of stress
to maintain their well-being. However, when
stress occurs in quantities that the system
cannot handle, it produces pathological
changes. The amount of stress humans can
withstand without having a pathological
reaction to it varies from individual to
individual and from situation to situation.
The stress response depends on genetic make-up,
immune defenses, nutritional status and
psychological attitude.
Today, with the technology of the 21st
century, there are more available tools
to combat the side-effects of long term
stress. One approach to stress reduction
is using quantum physics and high-tech systems
that pull stress out of the system, re-harmonize
the body, balance the mind and put people
fully back into their natural resonance.
A healthy lifestyle and diet are the foundations
for stress relief. Supplements can offer
additional protection from the effects of
stress. They also strengthen the nervous
and immune systems to better withstand illness.
Proper natural supplementation will be pinpointed
and recommended as well. |
